      This came in today. Retirees can now exceed 1039 hrs. If you were considering retiring, might be a plus for you! Subject: Notice to Unions RE: State Policy 40.025.01 - Temporary Appointments Good afternoon- This email serves as notice that the Governor is lifting the 1039 hour limit on retirees working in the Executive Branch of state government.

      AOCE Rep training

      Good afternoon members, AOCE will be hosting our annual Representative training. This training is offered for any member in good standing who has an interest in learning more about what the Association does to assist members and knowledge of our Collective Bargaining Agreement with the State. We will offer the training on Tuesday, February 1st at 8:00am and Wednesday February 2nd at 5:00pm.

      Bylaw Changes

      Hello, we have begun working on making changes to our bylaws. We are updating language, removing things that no long apply and adding updated information.       AIC's Motion to Intervene as Defendants

      Members, I wanted to share this with you to present a view behind the scenes look at what has been happening in the midst of our filings etc.over the Mandate. I have attached the case filed for you to see. In a nutshell, the AIC's (a few) are trying to intervene on our lawsuit siding with the State, while wanting to join the State in fighting us.
